Your Phone is a powerful mobile phone tool that enables Windows 10/Windows 11 users to rapidly create a secure wireless connection to their Android smartphone and access a variety of its functions.

While many other apps of this type have focused on simple photo and file-sharing tools, this application created directly by Microsoft allows home or office desktop and laptop PCs to tap directly into this popular mobile OS and access more advanced services such as their entire notification feed, SMS messaging, making phone calls, sharing content, and more. 

Unfortunately, even though Microsoft promised many of these features when they first released the app, some of them are still missing, and many users around the world are eagerly awaiting future updates that will improve their ability to control Android devices directly from their PC desktop surface.

Because Microsoft designed this software specifically for Windows 10 and Windows 11, it is only available online through the Microsoft Store. To install it on a desktop or laptop PC, simply navigate to the software's official Microsoft Store website using a web browser or the built-in Store app, then click the large Get button. The operating system will then manage the full process of obtaining and installing nearly 300 MB-sized files. To get the app up and running, the Android phone must first install the identical program from the Play Store, followed by a brief handshaking operation to synchronize two devices and unlock access to your data. 

Data sharing is only enabled when the mobile phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Windows 10/11 PC, and the Android application is only compatible with a limited number of popular Android handsets (currently, largely Samsung models). This compatibility list is growing by the month and will eventually be fully open to all Android device users. 

In its current configuration, the Your Phone desktop app allows for easy photo access and content exchange between mobile phones and the PC office suite. SMS, voice calls, and notification sharing are still not enabled, bringing the software's capabilities in line with other similar programs, such as the official macOS companion app for iPhone users. 

Your phone is completely free and can be used without limitation by anyone running a fully updated version of Windows 10 (May 2019 Update or newer) or Windows 11.
