Uninstalling Software
Uninstalling a software from your Windows or macOS computer is fairly simple process. Depending on your operating system, please follow the instructions below:
For Windows 11
- Right-click the Start button and select Apps and Features.
- Search and select the software you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
- Follow the uninstall wizard instructions.
For Windows 10
- Right-click the Start button and select Apps and Features.
- Search and select the software you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
- Follow the uninstall wizard instructions.
For Windows 8 / 8.1
- Locate and open Control Panel (if you do not have the Control Panel shortcut on your classic desktop, just switch to the Metro interface and simply start typing in control panel)
- Once you are in Control Panel, select Programs, then Programs and Features.
- Select the software you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
- Follow the uninstall wizard instructions.
For Windows 7 / Vista
- Go to the Start menu and select Control Panel.
- Select Programs, then Programs and Features.
- Select the software you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
- Follow the uninstall wizard instructions.
For Windows XP
- Go to the Start menu and select Control Panel.
- Select Add or Remove Programs.
- Select the software you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
- Follow the uninstall wizard instructions.
For MacOS
- Choose Finder application in the Dock.
- Press Applications in the left sidebar.
- Right-click the icon and select Move to Trash.
- To delete it from Trash, right-click Trash icon in the Dock and choose Empty Trash.
Additionally, users can eliminate any leftovers and fully uninstall other programmes using the uninstaller tool. Take AppCleaner for macOS or Revo Uninstaller Free for Windows, for instance.
