WD Dashboard

If you have a WD SSD, this tool will help you maintain it fast and optimized! The Western Digital Dashboard for PC helps users maintain top performance of Western Digital drives on Windows® operating systems by providing a user-friendly graphical interface. The Western Digital Dashboard contains tools for disk analysis (disk model, capacity, firmware version, and SMART properties), as well as firmware updates.

Instructions

• Download the Western Digital Dashboard into your hard disk. 
• To run the downloaded installer, double-click DashboardSetup.exe. 
• Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the installation. 
• When the installation is completed successfully, click the Finish button. 
• The dashboard will instantly launch and load the status section

Data backup advice for changing firmware with the WD SSD Dashboard 
The firmware update should not alter the app's data. However, there is a very little risk that a firmware update will result in data loss. Because of this, WD strongly advises backing up all data before beginning the firmware update. 

Troubleshooting an SSD that is not identified by the WD Dashboard. 
The app Dashboard is only compatible with WD brand SSD products. Please confirm that the app and connections are connected correctly. Click the Dashboard's Rescan button to scan the system for connected WD SSDs, or close and restart the WDSSD Dashboard program.
