Unlocker

Unlocker is an Explorer extension that removes error messages such as "error deleting file or folder" and "cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program" with a simple right-click of the mouse. This unlocker tool is excellent!

Have you ever encountered these Windows error messages? 

• Cannot delete the folder: It is being used by another individual or application. 
• Cannot delete file because access is denied. 
• There was a sharing violation. 
• The source or destination file could be in use. 
• The file is being used by another program or user. 
• Make that the disk isn't full or write-protected, and that the file isn't in use.

Unlocker is the solution! Simply right-click the folder or file and choose Unlocker. If the folder or file is locked, a popup displaying lockers will appear. Simply click Unlock All, and you're finished!

When triggered, Unlocker displays a list of locked files. Simply select the file you wish to unlock and then press the Unlock button. Once the software has completed its task, you can delete, rename, relocate, or otherwise modify the file. This program works with both folders and files and can handle nested directories, long path names, and so forth. The program is straightforward and intuitive to use, so even inexperienced computer users may easily unlock data. 

Unlocker interacts with Windows Explorer, which contributes significantly to its simplicity of use. There is no need to run Unlocker if you know which file you want to change. Simply right-click and select the Unlock Menu option. Presto! Most of the time, unlocking happens so quickly that you don't realize it. When the operation takes longer, such as unlocking a nested folder, the application displays a progress bar that appropriately indicates how long it will take. 

The program does not have any intrinsic disadvantages. The user interface is simple, yet the program accomplishes its objectives admirably. It is important to note that if Unlocker is not utilized properly, it can cause system and application instability. This is not the fault of the tool. If you unlock and manipulate a file that should be left alone, you might expect data loss, crashes, and so on.
