SnipIT

SnipIT is a browser add-on for older versions of the Internet Explorer browser that provides a quicker way to generate and send emails without having to switch to another application. This application was designed from the bottom up to provide a quick and reliable way to create emails immediately from any web browsing session, and it has proven to be one of the simplest ways for anyone to enhance productivity and optimize their workflow. 

What SnipIT Can Do?

The SnipIT for PC program is best suited for users who frequently come across internet text that they wish to send to a friend, family member, colleague, or client by email. Simply highlight the text in the browser tab, right-click, and select your preferred email client. 

The best part is that, despite its limited capabilities, this software manages to surprise you with built-in support for multiple email clients. While it can automate email production using local Outlook email clients, it can also integrate with Gmail, a popular email web client. If the user has not specified which client to use or has not yet entered their username and password, the app will prompt them to do so. 

Because it is designed to be used in conjunction with Internet Explorer, SnipIT is available as an extension with no user interface. Instead, it simply becomes part of the browser and is available whenever you choose a text (whether it is a word, phrase, sentence, paragraph, or even longer). Simply right-click on a selected text and the new options "Send Using Gmail" and "Send Using Outlook" will appear in the dropdown menu. 

Clicking on those selections will take you to the email messaging client, where your selected text will already be in the body of the email. To send the copied text, simply enter the recipient's email address, email title, and click the "Send" button. Simple, fast, dependable, and readily incorporated into the workflows of home, school, and office users. 

It should be noted that this browser extension is only intended for use with the Internet Explorer browser on older versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system. The SnipIT plugin is incompatible with the newly released Edge browser, which replaced the legacy Internet Explorer software in Windows 10/11. The addon is also unable to communicate with other lesser-known email clients (both locally and online), limiting its compatibility to a small number of email platforms.
