Create customized staff sizes
Thanks to popular demand, you now have more layout and composition options to effectively present your score. To achieve a clear and perfect-looking score, adjust the individual staff sizes of independent instruments and groupings of instruments. And acquire precise control over the new staff sizes in Engraving Rules. 

Make music easier to learn
Music does not have to be in black and white. You can now color individual notes and/or chords in the current version of Sibelius, providing pupils with a more enriched and visible manner of learning to read and write musical notation. 

Get better rest
Inserting pauses into your score is now simpler and more obvious. When you add one, Magnetic Layout automatically repositions the rest to correspond optimally with the phrasing of the notes that came before it—no human adjustments are required. Create readable scores faster than ever before. Additionally, you can now move pauses and notes horizontally in your score. 

Re-spell and repeat with ease 
It is now feasible for the same pitched note to have a different accidental than the rest of the score. You can also build compact first, second, and third-time bars that appear and play exactly as expected, avoiding the need for human correction. Additionally, all-time signature updates are now displayed after the barline but before repeat barlines by default. 

Share your score! 
Do you want to share your composition with a colleague, client, or friend? You can now export your composition as an MP3 audio file for speedier file sharing without exceeding email size constraints. 

Include notes and remarks
Sometimes you have a wonderful thought but fail to write it down. The next thing you know, your concept is gone. The new Annotate function allows you to make notes directly on the score—you may use it to remind yourself while you're composing or to discuss revisions and criticism with others.
