ScpToolkit is a gaming accessory emulation program that allows all Windows PC users to fully use their DualShock 3 and DualShock 4 game controllers in recent games by detecting them as fully xinput-compatible devices. 

Legacy gaming controllers for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles only support generic drivers, and the Windows operating system cannot identify them natively using ordinary Bluetooth receivers. This app changes all of that by including a Bluetooth driver package that makes DS3 and DS4 controllers easily detectable, as well as a slew of other useful features that make using these controllers on modern PC games as simple as using any other full xinput-compliant gamepad. 

ScpToolkit is available online as an automated installer, allowing users of all skill levels to quickly install it on any current desktop or laptop PC. Once loaded, users will be greeted with a simple configuration program that allows them to configure many global and DS3/DS4-specific parameters, such as the installation of custom Bluetooth drivers, controller drivers, input pooling rate, DS4 light bar brightness range, invert controls, and much more. 

When properly configured, ScpToolkit will attempt to identify the presence of wireless DualShock 3 or DualShock 4 controllers and notify users of their status via the log listing on the main dashboard. Once successfully detected, these PlayStation gamepads will be simulated into an Xbox signature, allowing Windows OS to immediately connect to them and recognize them as fully functional gamepads. This will allow users to easily use all of their gamepad's functionality in any current video game, emulator, or software, such as Steam, Epic Game Store, and many others. PlayStation gamepads handled by ScpToolkit can now be utilized wirelessly in VR games and experiences that require gamepad input. 

ScpToolkit is a small and fast application that can change the way people use their old PlayStation gamepads. However, its operation necessitates the installation of third-party drivers (luckily, the software handles the entire process), as well as some more in-depth configuration steps that some beginners may struggle with. Fortunately, all of the app's capabilities are easily learned, allowing gamers to shift their attention away from this emulation utility and toward their favorite games.
