Parted Magic has the necessary instruments for the job. The Partition Editor allows you to resize, copy, and transfer partitions. You can expand or contract your C: drive. Clone a computer's entire drive or a specific partition. The cloned data could be saved as an image file or as a duplicate of the original data. The information might then be stored to a locally attached storage device, an SSH server, a Samba server, or a network file system share. The clone file can then be used to restore the original if necessary.

Supported File Systems

Ext2, Ext3, Ext4, Fat16, Fat32, NTFS, and Reiserfs 
Actions supported include creating, growing, shrinking, moving, copying, checking, labeling, and UUID. 

btrfs supports the following actions: creating, growing, shrinking, moving, copying, checking, and labeling. 

Exfat supports the following actions: creating, moving, copying, checking, and labeling. 

Hfs and HFS+ 
The following actions are supported: create, shrink, move, copy, and check. 

f2fs supports the following actions: create, move, and copy. 

Other file systems with limited compatibility include jfs, Linux swap, LVM2 PV, nilfs, reiser4, ufs, xfs, and zfs.

Supported Hardware 
PMagic requires at least a 686 CPU and 1GB of RAM. 512MB in Live mode. Compatible with Secure Boot Windows computers. Works well on Intel Macs. 

Supported Storage Devices 
Hard disks (SATA, IDE, and SCSI). Flash memory. USB drives. Solid State Drives (SSDs). Devices with sector sizes such as 512, 1024, 2048, and 4096. 

Networking 
Use the sophisticated Network Manager to simply configure wired and wireless connections. Includes the Firefox web browser for browsing the internet. 

Additional partition features include support for MS-DOS and GPT partition tables. MIB partition alignment and typical cylinder borders. Disable and enable partition flags such as hidden, boot, and raid. 

No installation is required! 
PartedMagic is a standalone Linux operating system. Runs off a CD or USB disk. Nothing is installed. 

Disk partitioning software
drive partitioning divides a hard drive into several storage units known as partitions. A physical disk with many partitions can run more than one operating system. Each partition may have a distinct file system. 

SSD Secure Erase
When Parted Magic Secure Erase is applied to an SSD drive, all of its cells will be identified as empty. 

Benchmarking Software
A benchmark application measures a computer's relative performance by conducting a series of conventional tests and trials against it.
