NVIDIA RTX Voice is a new plugin that uses NVIDIA RTX GPUs' AI capabilities to eliminate irritating background noise from broadcasts, voice chats, and remote video conferencing meetings. This enables users to "go live" or attend a conference without having to deal with undesirable sounds such as loud keyboard tapping or other ambient noise in noisy places.

The RTX Voice plugin also reduces background noise from players in loud venues, making incoming audio easier to comprehend. RTX Voice integrates a virtual microphone and speakers into your system. They can then be chosen in the most popular live streaming, gaming, and video conferencing programs such as, but not limited to:

  • OBS Studio
  • Streamlabs
  • XSplit Broadcaster and Gamecaster
  • Twitch Studio Discord
  • Google Chrome
  • Battle.Net Chat
  • WebEx
  • Options include Skype, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Steam Chat

RTX Voice creates a virtual device on your system, which we want to use in your voice chat apps to remove background noise from chat only, rather than your general Windows audio.

We recommend that you enable the NVIDIA RTX Voice app for your microphone and only turn it on for your speakers if necessary. While quality stays nearly identical, there may be a minor variation in some circumstances, and the solution consumes system resources that can be avoided if not required.
