Yes, all versions of Novabench run the identical benchmark tests. Upgrading to a higher version grants access to extra analysis data and utilities that are not available in the free version.
How do upgrades work?
After purchasing an upgrade, simply login in to the Novabench application to activate the Plus or Pro features you purchased.
How many licenses do I need?
For individual users, a single Plus license is sufficient. However, for teams, each Novabench user requires a separate Pro seat. Team seats may be redistributed if needed.
Looking for Novabench 4?
Since its release in 2017, Novabench 4 has been a popular choice for performance testing. However, computer technologies have improved greatly since then, with the introduction of new instruction sets, the rise of ARM processors, and notable advances in storage, GPUs, and other areas. Novabench 5 will replace Novabench 4 as the officially supported benchmarking tool beginning in February 2023.
While test findings from Novabench 4 are still applicable to x86-64 platforms, Novabench 5 provides enhanced precision in new areas not addressed by its predecessor, such as memory latency.
Updates for Novabench 4 will no longer be supplied, and only current license users will be allowed to download and use the software. Furthermore, the ability to submit scores online through Novabench 4 is no longer available.
