MyLanViewer
MyLanViewer is a robust Netbios and LAN/Network IP address scanner for Windows that also includes a whois and traceroute tool, a remote shutdown and Wake On LAN (WOL) manager, and a wireless network scan and monitor. This tool will assist you in locating all IP addresses, MAC addresses, and shared folders of computers on your wired or wireless (WiFi) network.
The application scans your network and presents your network computers in a user-friendly, buddy-list type window that includes the computer name, IP address, MAC address, NIC vendor, OS version, logged users, shared files, and other technical information for each computer. MyLanViewer Network/IP Scanner offers remote shutdown, wake-on-LAN, lock workstation, log off, sleep, hibernate, reboot, and power off. It can monitor IP addresses and display notifications when the status of some computers changes.
The Network/IP Scanner may also examine and access shared files, terminate user sessions, disable shared folders, display netstat data, and identify rogue DHCP servers. The software can monitor all devices (even those that are hidden) on your subnet and notify you when new ones are discovered. The program is simple to install and use, with an intuitive and visually appealing interface.
How to view who is connected to your wireless (Wi-Fi) network (router) using My Lan Viewer
Neighbors or other strangers may use your home wireless network without your awareness. Encrypting your wireless network does not guarantee that your password will not be compromised, even if you use WPA2 security. So you should check to see who is connecting to your wireless network. For this, you can use specific apps or your Wi-Fi router's control panel.
The Network/IP Scanner will display all devices in your subnet, including those that are hidden. For these purposes, you can use MyLanViewer's "Subnet Monitoring" function. It will indicate who is currently connected to your Wi-Fi router.
Please keep in mind that the trial version only lasts 14 days.
