MongoDB Compass
MongoDB Compass, MongoDB's GUI, enables you to make more informed decisions about document structure, querying, indexing, document validation, and other topics. MongoDB Compass is accessible as part of subscriptions. This version is a free tool for creating with MongoDB that contains a fraction of the app's functionality. The Community Edition is free for all users.
It enables you to evaluate and comprehend the contents of your data without prior knowledge of MongoDB query syntax. In addition to analyzing your data visually, the program allows you to optimize query efficiency, manage indexes, and implement document validation.
This version disables all network connections except those to the MongoDB instance. The Isolated Edition is available through subscriptions.
Compass is available in four editions
Compass Community
This edition is for programming with MongoDB and offers only a subset of the tool's functionalities.
Compass
A full version of Mongo DB Compass, including all features and capabilities. The app is available through subscriptions.
Compass Read-Only
This edition only allows for read actions, with no write or delete capabilities.
Compass Isolated
This version does not make any network requests other than to the MongoDB server to which Compass connects. This edition is intended for extremely secure situations.
