Intel Memory and Storage Tool

Intel Memory and Storage Tool (Intel MAS) is an easy-to-use drive management software for Windows computers. Users can access real-time drive details, firmware updates, diagnostic scans, secure erase processes, and SMART properties for Intel® Optane™ SSDs via a graphical user interface.

What`s New

Intel Memory and Storage Tool (Intel MAS) has a new interface but retains all of the functionality and features of the Intel SSD Toolbox. Additionally, it now supports firmware updates for Datacenter SSDs.

Important Notice

Firmware upgrades and new features are now available for Intel® Optane™ SSDs and memory products. 

The Windows download package contains both the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Command-Line Interface (CLI) versions of the program. If you need a Linux CLI package, refer to the Intel® Memory and Storage Tool CLI (Command-Line Interface).

Getting started

• To initiate firmware updates for Intel SSDs without the need for an operating system, use the Intel SSD Firmware Update Tool. 
• Verify the available firmware versions for Intel SSDs to find the most recent options. 
• If you purchased your Intel SSD from an OEM, you should be aware that the firmware version may have different labeling. To receive the most recent firmware upgrades, contact your local OEM representative. 
• If you have any problems or questions while updating your firmware, please contact Intel Customer Support.
