Key Features Of Maxon Cinema 4D

Onboard spline tools with real-time feedback
It comes with a complete splines toolbox, eliminating the need to switch to an additional tool. Easily build and alter splines with the program's new Pen tool, drawing, smoothing, arc tool, and boolean commands.

Organic modeling is both intuitive and efficient.
Dozens of new features and upgrades to the program make sculpting a great pleasure. Use Sculpt to PoseMorph, for example, to accelerate character animation. Edge Detection allows you to easily create hard-surface shapes. It makes sculpting with the tool easier than ever.

Improved flexibility and usefulness with the new Variation and Formula Shaders.
It introduces new and larger shaders that improve usability and performance. The new Material Override function allows you to simply override individual channels of specified materials when creating clay or matte renders.

Motion tracking features have been greatly improved.
It's now easy to incorporate 3D objects into videos. Cinema4D's Motion Tracking functionality has been improved by providing the ability to rectify lens distortion and an accessible tool for swiftly removing unwanted track points.

Cinema 4d System Requirements

Operating System

  • Windows 10 Version 20H2 or higher - or Windows 11
  • Intel 64-bit CPU or AMD 64-bit CPU with AVX2 support
  • 16 GB RAM, recommended 24 GB or more

Graphics Cards

  • Minimum: NVIDIA Maxwell GPU, AMD Polaris (AMD GCN 4), Intel Kaby Lake or newer supporting DirectX 12 with feature level 11.0
  • Minimum GPU Driver: NVIDIA 461.40, AMD 21.3.2, Intel 27.20.100.9168

Although Cinema 4D supports all DirectX 12 feature level 11.0 graphics cards, we recommend utilizing a dedicated 3D graphics card with an AMD or NVIDIA chip set and at least 4 GB VRAM (8 GB or more is preferred). We recommend 16 GB or more of RAM for Intel or AMD PCs with integrated GPUs because integrated GPUs can use up to half of the computer's available RAM.

A discrete Metal 2-capable GPU is recommended for macOS Macs running prior to Apple Silicon.

Maxon is not responsible for individual graphics cards' compatibility with DirectX 12 or Metal mode. Because of the enormous number and variety of available chip sets, operating systems, and driver versions, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all systems.

Please ensure that you are always using the most recent official graphics card driver (not beta versions).

Note: After the 42-day trial period (which requires activation), the demo version is available.
