KIOXIA SSD Utility

The KIOXIA SSD Utility is a user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) software program for Windows PCs designed to help you maintain and monitor your SSD. This version of KIOXIA SSD Utility Management Software is only compatible with KIOXIA SSDs (as listed in the table below). Firmware Update 
We recommend periodically updating your SSD's firmware to improve its speed and stability. You may now quickly make these upgrades directly from SSD Utility. 

Monitoring 
Monitor your SSD's remaining lifespan and sensor temperature, and make sure it's connected to the right ports and set for peak performance.

Secure Erase 
Protect your sensitive data by safely wiping it and returning the SSD to its original, uninitialized condition, preventing any possible data recovery. 

Set a password and lock your portable SSD to protect valuable data from unauthorized access. 

Support 
The Save Support Package feature allows you to efficiently manage your support needs. SSD Utility also easily gives direct access to support contact sites for help with settings or debugging issues.

• Make backup copies of any data on the SSD that you want to save; certain actions result in the entire loss of data on the SSD. 
• When using password security on your portable SSD, please ensure that it is enabled. 
• Windows: If your SATA controller is not already in AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) Mode, set it in the motherboard BIOS; for instructions, consult your computer's user handbook. 
• SSD Utility must be run as a system administrator. 
• An internet connection is required for firmware updates.
